Bama vs. ND

The Tide vs the Irish. The battle of Defense. Can ND end the SEC dynasty? So many headlines for this game tomorrow but none of them will matter come kickoff. So here are the keys to the game:

1. Everett Golson

In order for ND to win this game, the Irish must have a huge performance from their quarterback in order to win this game. Yes he has struggled throughout the year and has been pulled in games but Golson is a gamer and he will show up under the bright lights of South Beach.

2. Manti Te’o

His life will one day be featured in an ESPN “30 for 30” that is titled “The Journey” His life story is depressing and inspiring all wrapped in one ready for Hollywood. He is a man on a mission and his journey will come to and end tomorrow night, expect 10+ tackles out of Te’o and don’t be too surprised when he makes the games biggest play like he has all season.

3. Eddie Lacy and Bama’s OLine

This Bama’s O Line is one of the best in the nation, if not the best. If the Tide can consistently run the ball the whole game then it is game over for ND because McCarron will have all day to throw. Lacy has racked up over 11oo yards and 16 Touchdowns and for good measure he is a grown man.

4. Nick Saban

After his stint in the NFL he has come back to College and dominated. He turned Alabama into a recruiting powerhouse and orchestrated the best defense in College Football history last year and his defense this year is up there once again. He is a Football guru but more importantly he is a winning guru. Already winning three championships his 4th would put him as one of the all time greats.

Everyone loves ND because the upset (even though they are #1) pick would be the perfect way for Irish explode back on to the National scene, a place Notre Dame used to call home. But for the Tide, can the dynasty and SEC dominance continue?

Good luck to Irish Guard Chris Watt, former Glenbard West Hitter.
